Airborne methane detection uses laser technology to identify and measure CH4 gas from above.
Our drone-mounted sensor emits a laser tuned to methane’s unique absorption wavelength. When the beam passes through a methane plume, the gas absorbs part of the signal, allowing the system to calculate methane presence and concentration in real time.
In industrial environments, this enables rapid inspections, perimeter sweeps, pipeline and tank evaluations, and post-maintenance verification — delivering wide-area coverage, safer stand-off distances, and faster insight into methane emissions.
WHAT IS AIRBORNE GAS DETECTION?
Explore the interactive CH4 scan below to see how our laser sweeps an area and instantly displays real-time methane readings to the pilot. This immediate feedback highlights critical emission areas as they’re detected, allowing for rapid understanding and faster decision-making in the field.
REAL-TIME
METHANE
INTELLIGENCE.
Our airborne CH4 laser delivers immediate, actionable gas intelligence in real time.
• Live CH4 Readings: Instant methane concentration values displayed during flight.
• Laser Scan Path: Continuous sweep showing exactly where measurements are taken.
• Emission Highlighting: Rapid identification of elevated methane areas as they occur.
• Precise Pinpointing: Integrated positioning data to help isolate potential leak sources.
This real-time feedback transforms methane detection from delayed analysis into immediate field awareness.

REDUCE RISK.
Systematic Area Coverage - Structured grid-pattern flight missions allow our CH4 platform to scan large areas efficiently, detecting and isolating methane concentrations even when the source is unknown.
Documented, Actionable Data - Every detection is captured and compiled into clear, data-backed reports including concentration values, scan paths, and precisely identified emission locations.
Proactive Operational Control - Early methane identification enables teams to respond quickly, implement corrective measures, and reduce environmental, operational, and safety exposure.
